Its not our bus, says Volvo

HYDERABAD: The Volvo Buses India Pvt Ltd on Thursday clarified that the bus which met with an accident and subsequently caught fire at Choutuppal on NH 9 was not a Volvo.Reacting to a report published in these columns, Volvo’s company secretary Rama Murthy said, “We continuously bring in features like driver training to electronic brakes and a responsive driveline to minimise the scope for untoward incidents."It was an unfortunate incident and we are saddened to learn of the deaths," he said.
