Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad won the Bhaderwah Assembly seat defeating BJP's Kaushal Kotwal by a record margin of 58,015 votes.
Azad, representing Congress party, got 62,072 votes and Kotwal 4,057, out of a total of 66,129 polled votes, Deputy Commissioner, Doda, G K Qureshi said.
The by-elections to Pattan, Sangrama, Rafiabad and Bhaderwah constituencies of the state were held on April 24 and over 60 per cent voters had exercised their franchise.
