BANGALORE: Lokayukta Justice Santosh Hegde suggested members of Kannada Vedike to generate state wide awareness among public about anticorruption. He said, "Corruption is everywhere. Considering the future generations, a change in the system has to be brought about."
Speaking during the 5th anniversary celebration of Kannada Vedike on Tuesday, Hegde said Bangalore, as a city and the people had changed over the years. He also added that cultural diversities have taken importance in the city.Cultural programmes were organised by many college students in the city. Students from around five colleges Maharanis Arts, Commerce and Management College for Women, Government Science College, RC College of Commerce participated in the event. The seminar as well as the dance performances were centred around anticorruption.
