Bangalore: There appears to be no end to the cat fight between former chief ministers B S Yeddyurappa and D V Sadananda Gowda. Gowda on Wednesday accused Yeddyurappa camp of trying to implicate him in a corruption case to scuttle his chances of getting a position in the party.
“One should not be surprised if a case is filed against me in the Lokayukta court soon. They (Yeddyurappa camp) are gathering information about my properties in Bangalore, Mangalore and Puttur. Their intention is to paint me in black and scuttle my chances of getting a position in the party,” Gowda said. Further, Gowda added that a few leaders of Yeddyurappa camp were in touch with journalist Nagalakshmibai to persuade her to file a fresh case against him.
It may be recalled that Nagalakshmibai has filed a case against Gowda in the High Court for violating building by laws by amalgamating his site with that of minister D N Jeevaraj in the upmarket HSR layout.
