New Delhi: Lava has launched a new budget Android phone in India. Named Iris Alfa, the new phone is priced at Rs 6,550.
The phone features a 5-inch FWGA screen, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage. Its memory is expandable up to 32GB. The phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat and sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash.
On the connectivity front, the smartphone supports WiFi, Bluetooth, USB and 3G/Edge connectivity. It is powered by a 2200 mAh battery.
The Lava Iris Alfa will be competing against a range of budget Android smartphones including the Android One phones from Micromax, Spice and Karbonn, Moto E, and Redmi 1S.
The handset is available in black and white colours.
