Lawyer held for death of girl, porn CD

JHARSUGUDA: The Jharsuguda Police on Sunday arrested a lawyer, Uttar Gardia for allegedly luring a Dalit girl with the promise of marriage and circulating porn CDs of their intimate moments. The girl allegedly committed suicide on Saturday night after she found herself in the blue film being circulated in the town.Even as the police are investigating the suicide of the girl and the motive behind making the porn CD, the case pertaining to Gardia wife’s suicide has also been reopened. The accused was forwarded to the court on Monday. The police are waiting for the autopsy report and have also managed to procure the porn CD involving the duo, which is in circulation.  Gardia has reportedly confessed to his crime.
