It will take just a few hours for the verdict of assembly polls in Maharashtra and Haryana to be out. Even though BJP hasn't performed perfectly in by-elections across India, pollsters feel the results of assembly elections might go in its favour, courtesy Narendra Modi's impact. While the counting is still underway, we tell you what popular celebrities, who were in the Capital for 'Hum Hain... Ummeed-e-Kashmir' on Saturday, have to say about Maharashtra Assembly Election results 2014.
Anupam Kher (Actor): Mera vote jaa chukka hai. I hope people have selected the government that would look into the infrastructure development.
Ravi Kishan (Actor): Which government comes is not as important as the impact and change it leads to. It is important for the government that comes into power to think of aam junta, and most importantly those who live below the poverty line. It should be able to bring the peace we all want.
Shaan (Singer): Counting day pe kya hoga. Nobody can predict. We really have no clue about the results. And I think it is also important for one party to get the majority.
Aditi Rao Hydari (Actor): Maharashtra counting? Don't want to speak.
Farhan Akhtar (Actor): I can't speak about the exact poll result; that should be done by the analysts. Ismein expectations ki koi baat nahi hai, sabne apna vote diya. Now, let us wait for the results to be out.
