Man charged in wife's gangrape

New Delhi: In Madhya Pradesh’s Tikamgarh distirct, a man was among the 11 people charged for raping his wife.

Malkhan’s wife was confined at a house for three days in the district’s Khadri village and sexually assaulted from March 22.

When the victim, her father and her brother went to Jirone Police Station to register a report, they were beaten up by the Station House Officer.

The affected family, which reached Tikamgarh on Tuesday, met the Additional Superintendent of Police, Prembabu Sharma and told him about the incident.

The woman was sent for a medical examination following Sharma’s directive.

The victim was married two years back to Malkhan. In the recent past, the couple were having problems in their relationship.
