A man from Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur district failed class VIII exam but forged the marksheet and no one can detect it for over a decade.
Jabalpur: A man from Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur district failed class VIII exam but forged the marksheet and no one can detect it for over a decade.
The accused had appeared in class VIII exams in 2006, but managed to obtain only 69 marks overall and failed the exam.
He made the total number of marks as 257.
Recently, Marhotaal police station had received copy of the marksheet and forwarded it officer of District Education Officer (DEO) for verification.
As the officers calculated the total number of marks, it came to 260 while the marksheet showed grand total of 257.
By cross checking the records, the education officers came to know about the forgery.
