Margaret Alva admitted to hospital

KOCHI: Uttarakhand Governor Margaret Alva was admitted to a private hospital in Kochi on Friday. The Governor was found to have low blood pressure and minor ECG changes. Her blood parameters are now normal and condition is stable, doctors said.Margaret Alva had come to Kochi to attend the Council of Catholic Women of India at Ashirbhavan after which she visited Justice V R Krishna Iyer at his residence. Later, at the guest house she experienced general discomfort and sweating following which she was admitted. She is now under observation in the Cardiac ICU.
