TIRUCHY: Finance Minister O Pannerselvam, Agriculture Minister K A Sengottaiyan and Sports and Youth Welfare Minister N R Sivapathi inspected the venue of Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa’s function scheduled to be held for three days from June 19.The ministers also discussed the arrangements with District Collector Jayashree Muralidharan on Thursday. The Chief Minister is scheduled to arrive in the city on Sunday, inaugurate several new projects and disburse welfare assistance.The ministers inspected the venue at Therku Chithirai Veedhi and Mela Chithirai Veedhi in Srirangam.Earlier, a meeting with top officials of various departments was held at the Circuit House. MP P Kumar, IG (Central Zone) KC Mahali, City Commissioner of Police E Ma Masanamuthu and others accompanied the ministers.
