MK condemns false cases

CHENNAI:  DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi has maintained his sustained attack on what his party has alleged as false cases being filed against DMK cadre. He called for stringent action and punishments for those who file false cases and petitions. “The Madras High Court recently imposed a fine of `50,000 on some people for filing a false petition. If action is taken against those who file false petitions and cases, would it not help reduce atrocities?” he asked.He also refuted the claims that AIADMK general secretary J Jayalalithaa did not take action against the police while in power. He listed instances from her previous stints as CM where he alleged unjust action had been taken against high top cops.
