MMTS services for IT employees

HYDERABAD: With the South Central Railways (SCR) going to run MMTS services on the Secunderabad-Lingampally route, Cyberabad police have assured the Information Technology (IT) industry that the proposed rail roko would not impact on the transport facility of IT employees.“The rail roko is not likely to cause much impact on the IT industry located in Madhapur,” Cyberabad police commissioner Ch Dwaraka Tirumala Rao said. Rao’s assurance comes after the divisional railway manager, Secunderabad and chief security commissioner, SCR, informed him MMTS services on the Secunderabad-Lingampally sector would run as usual.“MMTS, the lifeline for IT employees of Madhapur will not be affected by the rail roko. The IT industry and its employees need not panic,” the CP said. Meanwhile, police are also in touch with the APSRTC to provide alternative support, if the situation demands.
