VELLORE: The application for the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) will be available in nine locations across the district, according to Chief Educational officer Pon Kumar. The TET will be held on June 3. The distribution of the applications began on Thursday. The Tirupattur and the Vellore educational districts had received 5,000 applications which were sold out within a short period. A long queue of candidates waiting for the applications had disrupted the traffic for some time. Pon Kumar arrived at the spot and informed the candidates that the education department had sought another 50,000 applications which were likely to arrive by Sunday. The applications will be made available on Monday at the District Education office, Don Bosco High School, Vellore, Vallalar Middle School, Government Higher Secondary School at Arcot and Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Sholinghur among others.
