New Delhi: Actor Salman Khan returns to the marquee after a long gap with K S Adhiyaman's Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar which releases this Friday.

The last time he was on screen was in the dud Saawan—The Season of Love.

Salman reportedly doesn't have any high hopes from this film either. "If you ask me, the film's future is very bleak," he said.

His argument is that the makers of the film have unnecessarily delayed the release of the film that has been ready for more than a year, which would have a negative impact on its box office performance.

To add to it, this Salman-starrer has tough competition at the ticket window with Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi’s Anthony Kaun Hai releasing the same day.

Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar is supposed to be a family drama interspersed with romance, humour and emotions.

It revolves around Ayaan (Salman Khan), a young man from an upper middle class family who falls in love with a filthy rich model Ahana (Shilpa Shetty).

Eventually, they get married but trouble soon crops up when Ahana discovers the vast cultural difference between her upbringing and Ayaan's.

Small differences eventually lead to a major confrontation between the two.

The film also stars Reema Lagoo, Shakti Kapoor, Mohnish Behl and Asif Sheikh. The music is by Sajid-Wajid.
