Andhra CMs comment came after TRS vowed to stall Assembly proceedings till resolution for creation of state was moved...

HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy today ruled out moving a resolution in the state assembly for seeking creation of Telangana state."The government will not move any resolution on Telangana," Kiran told reporters in the Assembly in an informal chat after the House was adjourned for the day today. The Chief Minister's assertion comes against the backdrop of the demand by Telangana Rashtra Samiti and its vow to stall the proceedings till a resolution for creation of separate state was moved."Legislators are free to express their views, reflecting the sentiments of people of the region, but we, as a government, will not move any resolution," Kiran said.Referring to the no-confidence motion sought to be moved by the main opposition Telugu Desam Party, the Chief Minister said the government was ready to face it."As I said in the house yesterday, we are also eager to face a no-confidence motion and give a fitting reply."To a question, Kiran said necessary action would be taken at the appropriate time against state Textiles Minister P Shanker Rao, who has been openly criticising the Chief Minister and some of his colleagues.
