Office-bearers of MACTA Federation take charge

KOCHI: New office bearers of the Malayalam Cine Technicians Association (MACTA Federation) took charge at the general body held here on Thursday.The office bearers of MACTA are:Harikumar (chairman), Jose Thomas (secretary) and G S Vijayan (treasurer).In the general body election held on June 28, 2010 both the panels received equal votes and it was decided that both the panels will come into power for one year each.During the first year, the panel with Thampi Kannanthanam as chairman and Balu Kiriyath as general secretary took charge. The federation has 232 life members, 121 active members and 130 associate members.Gold medals were distributed to students who scored highest marks in Class X and PlusII. The annual report for 2010-11 was presented and the new office bearers were felicitated.
