One killed, one injured as portion of building collapses

One person was killed and another injured when a portion of a two-storey building collapsed in Bhopal, police said on Friday.

The mishap occurred on Thursday evening when the eaves of the building collapsed near Kelewali Masjid under Tallaiya police station limits in Bhopal.

Two persons were extricated from the debris and rushed to Hamidia hospital. One Kamlesh (43), a fruit-seller who had a stall near the building, was declared dead at the hospital, while the injured person was shifted to a private hospital.
