Pakistan pipped India 3-2 to clinch the men's hockey gold in the 10th South Asian Games on Friday.

Colombo: Pakistan pipped India 3-2 to clinch the men's hockey gold in the 10th South Asian Games on Friday.

Shabbir Ahmed (5th minute) and Imran Warsi (37th and 43rd) scored for Pakistan while Sardar Singh (35th) and Vikram Kanth (60th) sounded the board for India in the final played at Maleta.

The teams were level 1-1 at half-time.
