New Delhi: Several passengers were stung by honeybees on Saturday afternoon while waiting for their flights at Lal Bahadur Shastri Airport at Babatpur in Varanasi district.
The passengers were standing in the airport premises when a flock of honeybees flew from a nearby tree and stung some of them.
The affected passengers and others quickly moved to safety and covered themselves.
The incident reportedly took place after a local resident threw a stone on the honeybees hanging by a tree stem in the airport premises.
