Plan Your Tirumala Trip: Key Dates In July Noted For High Pilgrimage Traffic
On Sunday, June 30, 81,005 devotees visited the temple to pray to Lord Venkateshwara.

One of the holy places in Andhra Pradesh is Tirumala, a pilgrimage site for Hindus, holding great historical and cultural importance. It is dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara, who is believed to be an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. It is one of the most revered places of worship in the country where devotees flock to worship the deity in hopes of being blessed with prosperity and great health.

Devotees are flocking to Tirumala. On Sunday, June 30, 81,005 devotees visited the temple to pray to Lord Venkateshwara. About 28,244 devotees offered hair as a part of the sacrifice. As per reports, the temple has received a Rs 3.94 crore donation in the hundi (a donation box). It easily takes anywhere between six to eight hours for devotees to wait in the queue to get a darshan of the Lord.

Now that the summer vacations are ending, the rush is expected to reduce. There are a few special days in July when it is likely to be crowded. Hence, if you are planning a trip to Tirumala, devotees must keep a few dates in mind.

July 2- Matatraya Ekadashi

July 11- Marichi Maharshi Varsha Thirunakshatra

July 15- Periyalwar Sattumora

July 16- Anivara Asthanam

July 17- Shayani Ekadashi, Chaturmas Vrat

July 21- Guru Purnima, Vyasa Purnima, Ashadha Purnima

July 29- Aadi Krithigai

July 31- Sarva Ekadashi

On these above-mentioned dates, Tirumala will be crowded. So, keep these auspicious dates in mind. Apart from these, one can also be a part of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). There are annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Parasareswara Swamy from 4th to 14th July at Narayanavanam, Andhra Pradesh. One can also be a part of Sakshatkara Vaibhavotsavams of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy from July 10 to 12 at Srinivasa Mangapuram and annual Jyeshtha Abhisheka from 16th to 18th July at Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple in Tirupati.

The annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Siddheswara Swamy and Sri Chennakeshwara Swamy Temples in Thallapaka will be held from July 17 to 25. The annual consecration at Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple in Tirupati will take place from the 18th to the 20th of July. Sri Vikhanasacharya Utsavmula will be held from 18th to 22nd July.
