KOCHI: The Navodaya South Residents Association (RANS) has appealed to the Thrikkakara Grama Panchayat to kick start the work of the Pazhangattuchal tourism scheme. The tourism scheme is aimed at increasing the tourism potential of Kakkanad has been at a standstill for quite some time.The demand has been made through a resolution moved by the RANS to the authorities. “In connection with the tourism scheme, it is necessary to repair the potholed roads which will hamper the prospects of tourism in the region,” RANS president P H Muhammed Kunju said.Another resolution has been moved in this regard in which the association has asked the authorities to repair the Kakkanad-Kumarapuram stretch which is ridden with potholes to solve the traffic bottleneck which is quite common in the region.
