New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Delhi-Faridabad metro link on Sunday, giving a boost to connectivity for commuters in Delhi-NCR.
Modi boarded the Janpath metro to inaugurate the new metro link which is an extension of the DMRC's violet line.The extension is from Badarpur in Delhi to Escorts Mujesar in Faridabad.
The new 13-km-long metro stretch, built at a cost of Rs 2500 crore, will benefit nearly 2 lakh commuters who travel within the NCR terroritory.
