Pop diva Madonna to become mom again

New Delhi: After David Banda, pop star Madonna is reportedly trying to adopt another baby from Malawi and this time, it will be a girl for Madge who celebrates her 50th birthday on Saturday.

According to reports, the pop diva has been planning to adopt a three-year-old Malwian baby named Mercy James.

Adoption officials in Malawi have said to have confirmed that Madonna is resuming her bid to adopt little Mercy after a temporary delay.

The local government is now waiting for is Madonna to forward the petition of adoption formalities.

However, it is said that some of Mercy's family is against this adoption.

Madonna currently has a daughter, Lourdes, a son Rocco with husband Guy Ritchie and in 2008 they adopted a Malawian baby, David Banda.
