In keeping with the SC order that revived POTA charges against him, Raja Bhaiya surrendered before a POTA court in Kanpur on Monday.
Kanpur: Former Uttar Pradesh Minister, Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya and his father, Uday Pratap Singh surrendered on Monday before a POTA court in Kanpur.
The surrender is in compliance with a Supreme Court order that revived POTA charges against them.
The designated POTA court accepted the surrender applications of Raja Bhaiya and his father and fixed November 22 for disposal of bail application of the former.
Raja Bhaiya's cousin, Akshay Pratap Singh was also present at the court on Monday. He has already obtained bail from the Allahabad High Court, defence counsel D D Mehta said.
Meanwhile, the judge has remanded them to judicial custody till November 26.
