BANGALORE: On the occasion of Oral Hygiene Day, over 250 people including students and faculty members from various dental colleges participated at a rally here on Monday.With an aim to create awareness among the general public about the importance of oral hygiene, the rally was organised by the Bangalore branch of the Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry, the Indian Dental Association and the Bangalore Association of Periodonotolgy .Speaking on the occasion, the association members appealed to the Home and Transport Minister R Ashok, to remove the taxes that has been imposed on the oral care products specially toothbrush and toothpaste so that it is accessible to economically weaker section of the society.
