Reconsider Dhaya College application

MADURAI: The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court has directed Anna University (AU) to consider afresh the application of  Dhaya Engineering College  for affiliation. The University had rejected the application of the college owned by M K Alagiri Trust on  the grounds that there was a shortage of books in the librar, the cafeteria was located next to a classroom and there was no proper transport facilities.“It is made clear that the appellant (AU) shall reconsider the matter afresh uninfluenced by the writ court order,” said a Division Bench comprising Justice K N Basha and Justice M Venugopal in their order on Tuesday.
