HYDERABAD: The AP State Human Rights Commission on Wednesday directed the Nellore district collector to submit a comprehensive report over a boy, who was forced to carry a sound box on his head during the election campaign of TDP candidate Venugopal Reddy, by July 12.The AP Bala Hakkula Sangam on Tuesday lodged a complaint to the SHRC stating that a nine-year-old boy was made a child labourer by Venugopal Reddy at an election rally that took place at Agraharam village in Jalagandla mandal of Nellore.While addressing the gathering, Reddy spoke for more than an hour and the boy was stood right there carrying a sound box on his head.The SHRC chairperson justice Nisar Ahmed Kakru directed the collector to investigate and submit a comprehensive report on the issue by July 12.
