BANGALORE: A 23-year-old man was stabbed to death by unidentified assailants in front of his house in Jogupalya in Halasur police station limit on Thursday morning. The reason for the murder is yet to be ascertained.The victim has been identified as Sudarshan alias Sahil, a native of Nepal. He was working at Grill House Restaurant in Indiranagar.The police said that Sudarshan had slept in front of his house after consuming alcohol. In the wee hours, some assailants stabbed him in his neck and murdered him. It is suspected that the murder took place after a brawl. The police are not ruling out the possibility of his friends’ role behind the murder.“He had not gone to work since two days. In the wee hours, they heard him scream and found that he was stabbed in his neck. Though, he was rushed to a nearby hospital, he succumbed to injuries.He might have quarrelled with his friends in an inebriated state and it might have ended in the murder. A knife was found on the spot,” the Halasur police stated.
