Rourkela cop in vigilance net

ROURKELA: Vigilance sleuths on Saturday carried out simultaneous raids on the houses and offices of DSP of Rourkela at different places in the State. The DSP, Prasanna Kumar Mohanty, has been accused of accumulating property disproportionate to his known sources of income. The residence and office of the DSP in Rourkela, a three-storey building at Puri valued at `32 lakh and another building at Angul, estimated at `9 lakh was found to be owned by Mohanty, were searched, informed Sambalpur-based Vigilance Department SP Manoranjan Panda.
