Saina regains No. 2 ranking
Following her Hong Kong Super Series win Saina has reached her highest ranking ever, she was No. 2 in July.

New Delhi: India's champion shuttler Saina Nehwal has regained the World No. 2 ranking again in the latest rankings released by the Badminton World Federation on Thursday.

The 20-year-old now has 68,811 points, a mere 2,381 short of World No.1 Xin Wang of China (71,192). Another Chinese, Shixian Wang, is ranked No.3 (67,176).

Following her Hong Kong Super Series win Saina has reached her highest ranking ever, she was No. 2 in July.

The Indian ace, who will not be playing any tournament for the next four weeks, will lose the rankings eventually but Indian badminton Legend Prakash Padukone believes Saina Nehwal is a solid contender at the upcoming Olympics.
