Sania and Russia's Vera Dushevina went down fighting 6-7(6), 2-6, 6-7(3) to 11th seeded Russians Alisa Kleybanova and Ekaterina Makarova here on Thursday.
Sania was already out of the singles event with a straight-set loss to Russia's Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in the women's singles second round.
