Shamjetsabam Sarjubala and Saweety won silver medals at the Women's World Boxing Championships Jeju 2014 in the Women's Light Fly (45-48 kg) weight category and Women's Light Heavy (81 kg) weight category respectively.
Sarjubala, a 2011 world youth champion, had defeated Thailand's Chuthamat Raksat 38-38, 40-36, 39-37, while Saweety got the better of Anastasiia Chernokolenko 39-37, 40-36, 40-36 in their semi-final bouts.
MC Mary Kom missed the tournament for the first time due to an injury she picked up during her gold medal-winning campaign in the Asian Games in September.
