New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Wednesday said it would hear a plea on police attack on mediapersons outside controversial sect leader Rampal's ashram in Haryana November 19.

Nearly 50 to 60 mediapersons were injured. Some of them were seriously hurt and the equipment of a few others were broken.
An apex court bench of Chief Justice HL Dattu said it would hear the plea by one of seriously injured mediapersons Monday as the same was mentioned by senior counsel Rajiv Dhawan.
Dhawan told the court that the petitioner mediaperson is seeking a judicial probe into the police attack, compensation and action against the police officers involved.
