BANGALORE: The state government has approved to set up a state-level National Rural Livelihood Mission to usher skill development among unemployed youths, Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister S Suresh Kumar informed here on Thursday.Addressing newsmen after a attending a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda, the minister said that it has been approved to float a State Rural Livelihood Mission on the lines of the National Rural Livelihood Mission which was earlier called as Swarnajayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojana (SGSY) launched in 1999. He said that the Centrally funded NRLH scheme would be formally launched in five districts in the first phase and implemented from January next year.
