Sebastian Paul denies charges

KOCHI: Former MP Sebastian Paul has denied the allegation levelled against him by Government Chief Whip P C George. ‘’George’s allegation did not surprise me. People know whom he is targeting. Therefore, I took this allegation only at a level it deserves. Every day George comes up with an allegation’’, Paul said.  ‘’I deny the allegations. It is true that Jijo is my relative. I can only say that I am not involved in the issue or I have not influenced any one for the appointment of Infopark CEO, said Paul, who is of the opinion that an inquiry should be initiated as demanded by George, if there was any irregularity in the appointment. Paul pointed out that no person, till date , had come up with a complaint that he was denied the appointment after being shortlisted for the post. Meanwhile, the public relations firm for Infopark has made a clarification with documents that the appointment was made as per the government procedures.
