A ban has been reinstated on night viewing of the monument.
Agra: Tourist queuing up to see the historical monument Taj Mahal on a full moon’s night may not be satisfied.
Security concerns have now caused authorities to reinstate a ban on night viewing of the spectacular monument.
Hundreds of tourists visit Agra every year to catch a glimpse the Taj which is believed to look its best on a full moon night.
And tourists don’t mind shelling out a big sum to view the marble wonder by night. Unfortunately the monument is under high terror threat and the police say they cannot afford to lower the security measures.
The ban was previously lifted by the Supreme Court of India in November 2004 and in the year 2000.
