Cops say Yashwant Jadhav forcefully entered her flat when she was alone.
Mumbai: A local Shiv Sena leader was on Friday night booked for allegedly molesting a woman in his neighbourhood in Central Mumbai, police said.
The woman alleged that Yashwant Jadhav, a local Sena leader, forcefully entered her flat when she was alone and allegedly molested her, Deputy Commissioner of Police Ashok Deshbhratar said.
In her complaint filed with Byculla police station, the victim said, Jadhav wanted to evict her from the flat in Mazgaon's Tawadi area for which he entered into her home and assaulted her.
A probe is on and action will be taken if Jadhav was found guilty, Ashok said.
