New Delhi: Sony has a lot of gadgets up its sleeve for IFA 2014. If reports are to be believed, Sony will unveil three new smartphones, a thin waterproof tablet, and successors to its SmartWatch and SmartBand, at its press event on September 3. The devices that are expected to be unveiled next week include the Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact, Xperia E3, Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, an Android Wear smartwatch, and the SmartBand Talk.

The Xperia Z3 is likely to come with similar specifications as its predecessor. It is expected to come powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor with 3GB of RAM, and a 5.2-inch Triluminous display. Specualtions are rife that the Z3 will have a solid battery life - keeping it up for 2 days on a single charge.

Sony may also announce a pint-sized version of the Z3, dubbed the Z3 Compact, with a 4.7-inch 720p display.

The budget E3 smartphone may also makes it way to IFA. It is expected to be engineered with a 1.2Ghz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and a 4.8-inch display.

Besides smartphones, the company's new thin waterproof tablet could also debut at the September 3 event. Dubbed the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, the tablet is claimed to come with 6.3mm of thickness and an 8-inch 1080p display.

The company may announce a couple of wearables too, including an Android Wear smartwatch.

Sony has posted a teaser video on this YouTube channel, which, however, hints at three new Xperia devices. What all the company announces on September 3 is yet to be seen.
