The following tri-weekly special trains will be running between Chennai Central and Hubli via Yeswantpur (Bangalore) to clear the extra rush of passengers.
According to a press release, T No 07314 Hubli – Chennai Central Special will leave Hubli at 20.20 hrs on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays from September 2 to November 30 and arrive at Chennai Central at 11.55 hrs the next day. T No 07313 Chennai Central – Hubli Special will leave Chennai Central at 14.10 hrs on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays from September 3 to December 1 and arrive at Hubli at 06.35 hrs the next day.
The composition of the trains will be 2 AC 3-tier, 6 Sleeper Class, 6 General Second Class and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
The trains will stop at Haveri, Ranibennur, Harihar, Davangere, Birur, Arsikere, Tiptur, Tumkur, Yesvantpur (Bangalore), Banaswadi, Krishnarajapuram, Bangarapet, Jolarpettai, Katpadi and Arakkonam. Advance reservations for the above trains commenced September 1, the release added.
