State mulls ban on gutkha, paan masala

He  himself wrote letters to Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa in this regard on May 31 and July 16, this year.In his communication, he pointed out that already the governments of Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Bihar, Maharashtra and Himachal Pradesh have banned these tobacco products in their respective states. Ramadoss also gave a detailed account on the evils of these products.Recently, Rajasthan banned these products.
