ROURKELA: Aparna Biswas of DAV Public School, Kansbahal, with 95.2 per cent in the Science stream of CBSE Class-XII examination has topped in Sundargarh district. Principal Rashmi Mishra said besides Aparna, Ansuman Patnaik, Batakrishna Giri and B Sravani scored 92.4, 91.8 and 90.8 per cent respectively. Sweta Sharma of Delhi Public School (DPS) with 94.4 per cent shared second position in the district with Anwesha Mohanty of Deepika English Medium School (DEMS). Akash Jena of DAV Public School, Rourkela, secured 94.2 per cent to emerge third, while Gourav Pradhan of DEMS and Anshula Mohapatra of DPS shared fourth position with 94 per cent. From DAV Public School, Rourkela, five students secured above 90 per cent.In Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV), Bondamunda, 50 students appeared and all passed with Debjan Singh emerging school topper with 91.6 per cent followed by Arajit Das (90.8 per cent), Rohit Singh (90.2 per cent) and Abhinav Tiwari (89.9 per cent). From KV, Sector-6, Chandra Marandi emerged school topper with 89.8 per cent. In the Commerce stream, Puja Kalatia with 86 per cent emerged school topper followed by Reshma Rani and Sashikant Singh who secured 77 per cent and 76.4 per cent respectively.DAV Tops in Science and CommerceSambalpur: The DAV Public School on the MCL Campus in Burla performed exceptionally well in the CBSE Class-XII examination with Gurlin Kaur Sahani and Subham Balalia topping the district in Science and Commerce streams respectively. While Gurlin secured 95.6 per cent, Amitav Dash and Jatindra Behera scored 93.8 per cent and 93.4 per cent respectively in the Science stream. In Commerce, Subham secured 94 per cent while Vivek Agrawal and Asish Sharma garnered 89.2 per cent and 87.8 per cent respectively. In Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sambalpur, Aditya Dora topped with 95.2 per cent in Science stream followed by Subham Jalan with 95 per cent and Palak Pattnaik with 94.8 per cent. In Commerce, K Shruti topped the school with 84.2 per cent followed by Atish Pandey and Bidisha Patel scoring 83.4 and 82.4 per cent respectively.In Navodaya Vidyalaya at Goshala here, Ashutosh Patel topped with 95 per cent while Swagatika Pradhan and Bidyasa Panda secured 94.2 per cent and 93.8 per cent respectively.Vikash Surpasses All-India Pass PercentageBargarh: Students of Vikash Residential School here emerged front-runner in the CBSE Class XII examination with its pass percentage surpassing the All-India figure of 81.19 in the Science stream. The school secured a pass percentage of 96 with 97 out of 110 students coming out with flying colours. Anurag Acharya and Bajaranglal Sharma secured 91.2 per cent and 90.6 per cent respectively to clinch the first and second positions in the school. In Commerce stream, Himanshuraj Sharma with 81.6 per cent topped the school.
