Sunaina Kejriwal, the director of the Kamalnayan Bajaj Hall and Art Gallery, has passed away on Saturday in Mumbai at the age of 53 after a three-year battle with cancer.
Sunaina was the daughter of the late industrialist Rahul Bajaj, former chairman of Bajaj Auto. She is survived by her husband, Manish Kejriwal, the founder and managing partner of Kedaara Capital, and their two sons, Aryaman and Nirvaan.
According to the Bajaj Group website, Sunaina completed a Post Graduate Diploma Programme in “The History of Indian Art – Modern & Contemporary & Curatorial Studies” at the Bhau Daji Lad Museum. She earned her Higher Secondary Certificate from S.N.D.T. College in Pune, specialising in textiles, and also completed a one-year Silk Screen Printing course at Sophia College in Mumbai.
Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, founder and executive chairperson of Biocon, expressed her condolences on social media platform X.

In her post, Mazumdar wrote, “Sunaina Kejriwal, Director Of Kamalnayan Bajaj Hall In Mumbai, Dies At 53 – A wonderful person whose life was snatched away by cancer. My deepest condolences to the Bajaj and Kejriwal families Om Shanthi.”
