CHENNAI: There can be no shortcut to success, and the city’s top scorer in the CBSE Class 12 exams S Dhivya will vouch for that. A student of Modern Senior Secondary School, Nanganallur, Dhivya reaffirmed that it was painstaking hard work through the year that won her 492 out of 500 in the exam, making her one of the highest scorers in the city.It takes intensive preparation and constant revision to get there, says Dhivya, who has scored 98 per cent in Physics, Chemistry, English and Computer Science, apart from 95 in Maths and a centum in Sanskrit. (The total has been calculated taking the best of these five subjects — excluding maths — as is the practice in CBSE).
