HYDERABAD: Consultations with Seemandhra Congress public representatives by Union minister and incharge of AP affairs Ghulam Nabi Azad on state’s bifurcation issue remained inconclusive and the minister has asked the leaders to come with more information for another round of talks soon. The meeting lasted for about three hours in New Delhi on Wednesday evening.A delegation of over 20 state ministers, MPs, MLAs and MLCs met Azad and made a powerpoint presentation on why a separate Telangana state should not be created.Talking to newsmen later, Seemandhra Congress public representatives convenor and minister S Sailajanath said they have highlighted the reasons behind their demand for keeping the state united.  It was also explained about the ‘loss’ to be occurred in the event of formation of Telangana state. Backwardness in Andhra and Rayalaseema regions were also brought to the notice of Azad, he added. Senior leader Gade Venkat Reddy said said though they were opposed to repealing of clause 14 (F) from the  Presidential order that gives preference to people from Telangana for jobs in Hyderabad, they would abide by the Centre’s decision.Meanwhile, it is learnt that minister TG Venkatesh  had submitted a representation to Azad about the investments made by Seemandhra people in Hyderabad city. He also urged for formation of second state capital and a special package to Greater Rayalaseema region.Ministers P Balaraju, K Parthasaradhy, MPs K Sambasiva Rao, A Venkatrami Reddy, MLAs Jogi Ramesh, Malladi Vishnu and several others were present in the delegation.
