A corporate quiz contest - GreenBiz Quiz 2011- aimed at generating awareness among companies on environment - was organised by Prelude Novel Ventures Pvt Ltd here recently. The event saw participation from 10 companies across the State, of which, four were shortlisted through a written examination. The final four included teams from Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Shine Group, ISSPL and Dhamra Port Company Limited (DPCL). While TCS team was branded as ‘Enigmatic Elephants, Shine Group was named ‘Raging Rhinos, Dhamra Port was branded as ‘Tough Turtles and ISSPL as ‘Roaring Tigers’. After a tough seven-round battle, DPCL was adjudged as the winner of the contest.Managing Director of Prelude Sanu Rath said the quiz contest was organised to show the commitment of the companies towards protecting environment and to encourage industries to adopt a green mechanism for a productive future. He added that the event would be organised at a national level from the next year.While chief guest of the event was Sujit Mohapatra, co-founder of Bakul Foundation, the quiz competition was attended by CEO of Sun Hospitals Riaz Khan.
