The youngsters have show the way and gone for the kill even though this was a dead rubber.

Indian cricket is now going the Australian way and no one can take his place for granted. The mantra now is perform or perish and with many young players ready to step into the shoes of the senior players even the seniors are giving a good performance.

All the young players have performed admirably and pushed the seniors. So in my opinion this has been the biggest gain from the Pakistan tour. We have won most of the matches without a major role being played by Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag and Rahul Dravid.

The absence of some of the seniors put the responsibility on the juniors and they came out with flying colours.

Now the nucleus for the One-Day team is ready and just a little bit of fine tuning is to be done to become world beaters.

Coming to the match I would say that the foundation for the win in the series was laid by our medium pacers. It is a very good sign that our bowlers can take wickets at regular intervals.

Pakistan has a strong batting line up and if our bowlers had not picked up wickets at regular intervals they would have scored huge totals. But none of the young bowlers were overawed by the occassion.

The major difference between our bowlers and Pakistani bowlers was that our bowlers tried to take wicket while Pakistan were always in a defensive mode. So while India was able to apply the pressure when the wickets fell Pakistan were not able to do so.

Even our fielding has improved a lot due the presence on the youngsters and this was also a big difference between the two teams.

Yuvraj is in a fantastic form and today also he showed his class. He has shots all round the wicket and can even find gaps when there are five fielders on the off side.

And Dhoni is simply amazing. He has so much power and time to play his shots that no bowler will find it easy to bowl to him. He also paces his innings very well and can change gears whenever he wants.

Both Yuvraj and Dhoni are very cool even when they find the going tough and that is why the opposition can never relax against them.

They share a great understanding and have really come of age during this tour. Among the bowlers Pathan, Sreesanth and RP Singh are now in great form. Even though Sreesanth and RP Singh were on their first tour to Pakistan but they handelled the pressure very well.

Their bowling was very good even though most of the pitches favoured the batsmen. Now India has a very good attack to challenge any batting line up.
