Mumbai: New Year is just a week away, and leading Bollywood photographer Dabboo Ratnani is all geared up for his 2006 calendar.
Ratnani has been photographing Bollywood's biggest names for over six years and is now all set to cash on his experience, as he shoots filmstars for the 2006 calendar.
Capturing 24 faces in 24 different moods — and all in one calendar — should make for interesting viewing.
Popular for making publicity stills for Bollywood flicks, Ratnani's work can be seen in movies such as Kasak, Yakeen, Hazaron Khwaishein Aisi, Fun - Can Be Dangerous Sometimes, Rog and Stop!
In this calender, Ratnani has made Shahrukh Khan carry a gold fish in a briefcase, made Big B pose against the Eiffel Tower and had Aishwarya Rai stare really hard into the lens.
For Celina Jaitley, this will mark her second appearance in Daboo's calendar. He hasn't told her which month she's likely to feature in, but she does have her own suggestions.
"I don't know which month I will be, but I hope it's my birth month, November!"
It takes some big stars and a prop to be a part of the Dabboo Ratnani calendar, and with Bollywood's biggies as Shahrukh, Salman, Aamir, Big B, Saif, Priety and Celina, Ratnani's calendar shouldn't be short of star appeal.
