Tiger Woods remains world's No. 1 golfer

New Delhi: Tiger Woods may take some time to come back to the greens, but it will take a long time to find anyone to replace him at the top of the points table.

Woods remains No. 1 after weeks of missing golf tournaments. In the world rankings released on Monday, Woods has 12.37 average points, about five points ahead of the man in the second place, Steve Stricker.

Woods had recently made his first public appearance after the scandals, apologising for his actions and hoping to make ammends in the future.

He also said he didn't know when exactly he would make a return to professional golf.
