With enhanced security measures and logistical planning, the authorities are ensuring a smooth experience for people who will be attending the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony at the Ram Temple.

As Ayodhya prepares for the consecration ceremony and inauguration of the Ram Mandir, the atmosphere is charged with excitement. With just a few days remaining until the grand ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony on January 22, spiritual fervour across the nation is reaching unprecedented heights. Amid this excitement, the state government is leaving no stone unturned to ensure top-notch security, employing a combination of manpower and technology.

In preparation for the historic ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony at the Ram Temple, authorities are implementing enhanced security measures and logistical planning. To facilitate a smooth experience for attendees, the state government is taking stringent steps to regulate entry into Ayodhya. Starting January 19, individuals not invited to the city will be barred from entering, with authorities in adjacent districts restricting the movement of their residents. Outsiders will be evicted from the city two or three days before the main event on January 22.

Reports indicate that, on January 21 and 22, all vehicles, excluding guests, pass holders, and Ayodhya (UP42) vehicles, will be diverted from routes leading to Ayodhya. Traffic police have been instructed to divert heavy vehicles starting January 18. The state police have developed a comprehensive plan to redirect vehicles from neighbouring routes. Trains are prohibited from stopping at Ayodhya railway station, and railway buses will also be restricted from entering the city in preparation for the grand ceremony expected to draw thousands of guests.

To bolster security arrangements for the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony, officials have installed 10,000 CCTV cameras across the entire district. Multilingual policemen in plain clothes will be deployed at the venue. In response to potential security threats from the sky, the Uttar Pradesh Police are set to utilise state-of-the-art anti-drone technology capable of detecting and intercepting unwanted drones.

As the nation eagerly awaits this significant event, the comprehensive security measures underscore the government’s commitment to ensuring a safe and memorable experience for all participants in the historic ceremony at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
